TOEIC® Speaking and Writing Tests透過網路施測，由ETS透過線上系統直接評分。利用生活化、多元情境的題型，有效評量個人在國際職場、生活環境中運用英語口說與寫作的溝通能力。 題型範例有效幫助考生熟悉測驗模式、各題評分要點，並擬定備考方向。

PART 1：描述照片
（Write a sentence based on a picture）

依照圖片內容造出一個句子，句中必須包含指定的兩個單字或片語，指定字詞的型態或使用順序可以變更。這類題型共五題，整個大題作答時間共8分鐘。

例題

Directions: In this part of the test, you will write ONE sentence that is based on a picture. With each picture, you will be given TWO words or phrases that you must use in your sentence. You can change the forms of the words and you can use the words in any order. Your sentence will be scored on

  • the appropriate use of grammar, and
  • the relevance of the sentence to the picture.

PART 2 : 回覆書面要求
（Respond to a written request）

閱讀25~50字的電子郵件後撰寫回信。每封郵件的閱讀與作答時間為10分鐘。這類題型共兩題，進入第2題後則無法返回第1題。

PART 3 : 陳述意見
（Write an opinion essay）

針對指定的議題陳述意見，並提出理由及例子作為佐證。作答時間共30分鐘，包含構思、寫作、檢查及修改答案。

Directions: In this part of the test, you will write an essay in response to a question that asks you to state, explain, and support your opinion on an issue. Typically, an effective essay will contain a minimum of 300 words. Your response will be scored on

  • whether your opinion is supported with reasons and/or examples,
  • grammar,
  • vocabulary, and
  • organization.
You will have 30 minutes to plan, write, and revise your essay

There are many ways to find a job: newspaper advertisements, Internet job search websites, and personal recommendations. What do you think is the best way to find a job? Give reasons or examples to support your opinion.

依照主題歸納本身想法，提出理由、論述、實例說明以加強論點。例題的為「找工作最好的方式」考生可依自身經驗，列舉曾經使用的求職途徑，再選出最好的多加敘述。先構思要用哪些例子來佐證，整理好後再開始寫作，時間許可也可構思反面論點，再加以總結。
「提出解決方案」題型評分要點：

  • 語調、重音
  • 發音

  • 連貫性
  • 內容的適切、完整性

本題型要求答題者在聽取訊息或讀取資料後，針對問題提出對策或解決方案。須正確理解對方的問題與要求，提出合理的解決方案和適切的回覆。
考生平時可培養以英文思考的習慣，以提升回答本題時的流暢度。

明確陳述個人意見，表達自身的立場為贊成或反對，並運用掌握度高的詞彙與文句提出適當的理由或例子，作為個人意見的佐證。避免使用過度複雜的內容導致無法順利表達出來。
